In 2021 we venture to Belgium and the storied cycling of Eddy Merckx, Ghent, Wevelgem, cobblestones and more.  We visited here and fell in love with the uniqueness of the region: the love of cycling, the rolling hills and racing of this unique area.  Unlike previous years of epic, long climbs, Belgium has rolling hills, short but steep pitches, and occasional cobblestone stretches in bucolic farm countryside. 

For the more historic minded, Belgium has plenty of Gothic grandeur and well-preserved medieval architecture and is home to both the European Union and NATO. And don’t forget about the food: Belgian chocolates are known worldwide, as are the beers, frites, and more.

Full cycling support is provided.  For those interested in less strenuous activities, there will be ample opportunities for visiting historic sites, shopping at local markets, enjoying world class cuisine, or perhaps just sitting back and immersing yourself in this unique culture.

CE credit: 14 hours RACE-approved Veterinary Education
